Buddha's taught Six Perfections (Sad Paramita: Dana [Generosity], Sila [Ethical Discipline], Kshanti [Patience], Virya [Enthusiastic effort], Dhyana [Concentration], Prajna [Wisdom]).
Buddha start from Dana-paramita (generosity), generosity is the willingness to give, there are three kinds of giving, first is the giving of wealth, material recources, energy and time; second is the giving of teaching or dhamma; and third is giving of fearlesness.
